The DZ9080 Advancer Iron with more than 400 microsteam holes ensure even and optimal steam distribution from tip of the soleplate to the rounded rear for fast, expert results with ease. The high quality stainless steel soleplate is attached to the heavy aluminum core in a unique way that provides an ultra smooth surface with a thin edge that can iron up to buttons, seams and delicate fabrics without snagging. The unique Platinium treated stainless steel soleplate provides an excellent glide and the scratch resistant properties of the stainless steel produces a harder surface with better non stick and non scratch properties. Maintaining the correct temperature is key to good ironing performance and garment care. The DZ9080 has an electronic temperature control that combines sensitive electronic sensors and controls with LED lights in an easy-to use-system. Steam Advance system, the key to easier ironing.

Advancer may be the best Rowenta yet !
Pros: Large, hefty iron with two steam settings and 400 holes. Cons: Perhaps too large and heavy for some. Price of admission is high. Bottom Line: The best iron I've owned!
Pros: Even heat, durability. Glides across fabric with little effort. Excellent steam output. No distilled water Cons: Weight, the iron can get heavy. So much steam you need to fill reservoir often. Bottom Line: Very disappointed.
Pros: Nonstick sole plate, number of steam holes. Cons: Leaks like a sieve from the heel rest. Watch out for newer ones!
